What is a 'Student Clinic?'
A Student Clinic is just like a regular herbal clinic. You receive a consultation with a highly trained herbal practitioner at a reduced cost in exchange for allowing students to observe, and in some cases participate, in the consultation.
- As part of their 3 year Clinical Herbalist Program, students are required to complete 300 hours of clinical practicum under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
- Student Clinic gives students an opportunity to learn how to work one-on-one with clients, while learning about the safe and appropriate use of herbal medicine.
- Qualified herbal students accompany Jeananne during your visit. This is a great opportunity to give herbal medicine a try and help out aspiring students.
- All consultations are conducted in a safe and confidential manner.
- You receive the same service at a greatly reduced rate.
- Cost: $45 for first visit. $35 for follow-up visits.
- Student Clinic runs most Fridays 10am-1pm.
